Standing seam
From roof to facade
This system has been developedfrom a typical zinc roof
product. It is also the most
adaptable technique as it can be
transformed on site. The standing seam profile recallsthe poetic universe of European
cities and is based on the know-
how of the craftsmen.
From its original function, standing seamhas flowed down to clad the façade, wrapping the building in a continuousunifying envelope. The use of standing
seam gives continuous joints from theroof to the façade while guaranteeingmaximum watertightness. Of course, this
technique can also be used for the
facade only…The low profile of its folds createsshadows along the length of the sheets.Single or double
building lock joints can bechosen to increase or decrease theshadow effects for both vertical and
horizontal installations. Its flexibility follows the most daringarchitectural shapes, straight or curved, radial or arched. The style of its long sheets contributes tothe modernity, lightness and regularity of
the façade. >
