Krijn Hamelink – Designer After completing his training at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 1969, Krijn Hamelink worked for the prestigious Netherland design company Kho Liang Ie. There he developed his roots in design creativity and the use of new materials and innovative production techniques. Since 2002, Krijn has been with VDS where he has designed the successful Quasi, Sari, Tapa and Ditto building chairs and the Quote, Labda Flex and Polo contract tables.Krijn has won numerous prizes and awards for his chair designs including the Good Industrial Design which promotes excellence in industrial design. The Sari chair is bringing a pleasant and fresh design breeze to the working stack chair. It offers a unique blend of the hottest design lines without compromising comfort, functionality and the strength required of today’s hard working stack chair.
