Maintenance and installation Guide 1) Floor preparation  For the implementation, refer to the standards NF DTU 53.2 P1-1 (concrete floor) and to the CSTB specifications 3635-V2 (existing floor).  The concrete substrate should be flat, smooth, clean, dry and sound with a degree of humidity < 7% and a surface temperature >10°. For a new concrete, it should be placed over an anti-humidity barrier and should be completely dry and hard.  2) Tiles preparation  48 hours before laying, store the tiles on pallets at room temperature and away from humidity (out of water, out of air). Do not stack more than 8 boxes to avoid crushing.  Usually a temperature of 15°C is required for the tile installation.  In the event of the continuation of a construction site, do not use a different batch.  The installation is most of the time made without glue for loads up to 1000 kg. Beyond that, the bonding is necessary with an appropriate glue (consult us if necessary).
