The only whirlpool bath with ultrasound.

A unique patent method Whilst the use of ultrasound in the field of medicine is well established, in Hydrosonic it is new and revolutionary. It can be used in the home at any time and in complete safety, which is a great advantage, but more importantly, it features a unique method of beaming ultrasound waves. The key component is a special patented boss, from which the air-and-water whirlpool jet is delivered together with a wide beam of ultrasound energy. Exploiting the optimum propagation medium afforded by water, the ultrasound beam projected from the Hydrosonic boss does not simply target localized areas, but is fanned out so as to envelop the whole body.
Hydrosonic Hydrosonic is more effective than a whirlpool The deep-penetrating action of ultrasound sets this massage apart from normal physical massages (manual or whirlpool), as it also stimulates the cells and improves enzymatic activity and oxygenation, key factors in tissue physiology. And the Hydrosonic massage is no less effective on the skin, given its capacity to facilitate epidermal cell renewal. Hydrosonic is the first combination of whirlpool and ultrasound ever to have appeared. It was designed and tested by a pool of researchers, medical experts and engineers working for Teuco, a company always coming up with new solutions for well-being in the bathroom. The Hydrosonic may look like a conventional whirlpool bathtub, but it conceals a big secret: massaging beams of ultrasound are combined with the air and water of the whirlpool to help all kinds of people stay in perfect shape, from keen sporting types to others no longer in the first flush of youth... In addition, it influences cell metabolism with a deep- penetrating action, improving the elasticity of tissues and combating the tendency of skin to tire and blemish. About ultrasound The use of high frequency sound waves is a familiar feature of modern medical care today (ultrasound scans are now commonplace). The safety of ultrasound is beyond question, especially with the kind of beam patterns generated by the Hydrosonic system. Ultrasound waves have a deep-penetrating action on the body, as they are able to reach the subcutaneous tissue, generating a thermal effect and a mechanical effect. In particular, the mechanical effect causes cells to contract and dilate alternately no less than 3 million times per second: a unique micrometric massage.
The Hydrosonic project has been monitored through-out by an Interdisciplinary Committee made up of experts from different fields. This is a team including specialists in Radiology, Dermatology, Neuroradiology and Health Physics, all holding positions in premier hospitals and research centres. The Teuco Medical and Scientific Committee valid-ates the effectiveness of the whirlpool-ultrasound massage as an aid to well-being and health of the human body, and guarantees it to be totally safe.
