m SUNSCREEN'S RANGE
Terreal offers a range of sunscreens with a wide variety of formats and lengths. The range is structured around four products, from the small and economical Autan®to the long-dimensioned Shamal®sunscreen. Whether for decoration or for protection from the sun, these four models offer a wide variety of potential uses.
FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS
• Autan®
With a squared shape and small dimensions, this is the simplest level sunscreen product. It can be used in new-build and renovation, for all kinds of buildings, and also lends itself to decorative purposes. It is supplied in two finishes and five colours.
• Harmattan®
With an oval shape and small dimensions, the Harmattan®can be used in new-build and renovation, for all kinds of buildings. It serves as both a decorative element and protection from the sun. It is supplied in two finishes and five colours.
• Zonda®
The Zonda®is rectangular in shape, inspired by Toulouse building bricks. With larger dimensions than the previous products, it enables a different design of the facades it covers. This is a mid- range product. It is supplied in two finishes and five colours.
• Shamal®
The Shamal®is a long-dimensioned sunscreen with the shape of an aeroplane's wing. It provides real protection against the sun and improves thermal insulation for the building. The frost resistant Shamal®meets the NF P13.304 and BN ISO 539.2 Method C standards. The Shamal comes with an anti-corrosion fixing system, and is available in two finishes, smooth or sanded, and six colours: red-orange, pink champagne, pearl grey, chocolate brown and ebony.
Single parts can be replaced independently of the others.
The Shamal®won the 2003 Design Trophy at the Batimat trade fair.
AUTAN®
Autan® a collection of maritime winds from the south-south-east in the French Mediterranean basin. The Autan blanc or white Autan is the burning, dry foehn wind in the Corbieres and the southern Massif Central, which counterbalances the effects of the marine freshness.
Harmattan® a north-easterly trade wind, dry and loaded with sand from the Sahara, which blows from December to February along the coast of west Africa. The wind carries sand above the Atlantic for hundreds of kilometres
Zonda® a wind which emerges from the Andes, between Argentina and Uruguay.
HARMATTAN® ZONDA®
The physical and chemical characteristics of Autan®} Harmattan®and Zonda® sunscreens meet the NF P 13.304 standards: dimensions, aspect, frost, efflo­rescence.
SHAMAܮ14
Shamal® A wind from Iraq and the Persian Gulf at its peak on summer afternoons. It also blows on summer mornings, but is much weaker. The Shamal is absent from these regions during the rest of the year.
