INSTALLATION The method of construction of the metal supportsystem is described in the CSTB worksheet n°. 3194 dated February 2000.Following a previously traced grid pattern, thebuilder marks out the secondary vertical frame to
which the clips will be attached (see diagrams 3, 4, 5 and 6) .The vertical frame is attached to the wall using abracket, like Etanco, which allows verticality to be
achieved.
The choice of the fixing method must be in
accordance with the regulations presented in
CSTB notebook n°. 1661.The Piterak® panels are secured to the verticalframework using the fixing fasteners with 2 self
tapping stainless steel 18/8 screws size 5,5 x 22.
The clips are fixed to a vertical module of 20 or
25 cm.When used a real ventilated rain screenincorporating external insulation, a free space of
minimum 2 cm must be maintained between the
face of the insulation and the rear of the Piterak®
panels to allow a free passage of air.The horizontal joint width is from 1,0 to 1,4 cmto maintain the vertical module of 20 or 25 cm.The vertical joint width may be between 1 and 2cm left open, or between 2 and 4 cm if
incorporating a joint-cover spine (see diagrams 5 and 6). >
