PITERAK

®

(see diagrams 4 and 6). The Piterak® system is regulated by Technical Approval (CSTB) N °2/04-1071. (see diagrams 3 and 5). ? or fixed onto a wall by the intermediary of aspecial wood or metal mounting structure standing off the wall to permit the construction of a cladding with integrated thermal insulation (insulated cladding)

DESCRIPTION

The Piterak® is a double-skin cladding product, thin at 4 cm,with overlapping horizontal joints providing greater protection against the rain. The aesthetic effect of a Piterak® façade, with its clear contours and its emphasis on the horizontal, is very dif- ferent from that of a Maestral façade. It is available with three surfaces and in six colours. The Piterak® is an external wall-cladding system, based on double-wall terracotta panels, mechanically fixed with interlocking by means of metallic clips (stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) fasteners) using two possible methods: ? either fixed onto the concrete or masonry wall,by means of a special mounting structure (non- insulated cladding)

PROPERTIES

• Piterak® Piterak® terracotta panels meet the specifications of NF P 13.304 and EN ISO 539.2 Method C standards. The product has good impact resistance (according to AFNOR NF P 08.301 and NF P 08.302 standards.Furthermore, the ease with which a piece can bereplaced permits Piterak® to be changed anywhere on the façade without any particular complications. Its qualities regarding the effect of pressure / depression due to wind (>1600 Pa) enable it to obtain safety coefficients sufficient for use on high buildings. The Terreal Piterak® also meets the following standards: > Expansion in contact with humidity (accordingto NF P 13.304)> Water absorption (according to NF P 13.304) > Characteristics of dimensions (according to ourspecifications dated 1999-12-06 – 5 pages).> Resistance to efflorescence (NF P 13.304) > Resistance to shattering (NF P 13.304) > Resistance to frost (EN ISO 539.2 Method C)
