DESCRIPTION
The Boreal is a double-skin cladding product which has a simpleand economical fixing system using horizontal rails. The open
joints ensure a better ventilation of the façade and a balancing of
pressures.
For façades, it can be combined with Phonbric® (for acoustic
applications).
The Boreal® is available with two surfaces and in six colours. The elements which constitute the Boreal® system aresubjected to Technical specifications by Terreal,
regarding the product technical characteristics and
installation. The Boreal® is an external wall-cladding
system, based on double-wall terracotta panels,
mechanically fixed with metallic 4/6 rail using one of
two possible methods:

*the back of the product is equipped with hanging lips which permitfixing on metallic 4/6 rail positioned horizontally in relation
to the façade (see diagram 2) .
PROPERTIES
? Boreal® This frost-resistant product resists very well to both
soft and hard shocks (in conformity with AFNOR NF
P 08.301 and 08.302 standards). The bricks can easily
be replaced in case of accidental breakage.
Boreal® can also be used in buildings higher than 45
meters.
They also meet tests for the NF P 13.304 and EN ISO
539.2 Method C standards.
The ceramic tile manufacturer is also subjected to specific tests
conducted in our laboratories:
> resistance to pressure/depression due to normalwind, (superior to 1500 Pascals in admissible value)> resistance of the hanging lips to depression forces.

enabling us to guarantee the reliability of the product.
Specific tests were performed on the 4/6 rail in our
laboratories:
