FEATURES

The Zephir® is a single-skin building cladding product whose lightnessmakes it easy and economical to install (with a lightweight sys- tem resting on horizontal rails). The open joints ensure that the façade is well ventilated and pressures well balanced. The Zephir® may also be combined with Phoniceram® (for acoustic applications). It is available with three surfaces and in six colours. The elements which constitute the Zephir® wall-cladding system are in conformity with the Scientific and Technical Centre for Building (CSTB) Technical Approval n°2/02-971. Perfectly frost resistant, the building bricks meet French standards NF P 13.304 and EN ISO 539.2 Method C. They are shock-resistant until Q3 depending the installation(according to P 08.301 and P 08.302 norms) and resistant under normal wind conditions in depression in weighted values: > for an interaxial distance of 600 mm: 1115 Pascals. > for an interaxial distance of 900 mm: 740 Pascals. The direct fixing of Zephir® is subjected to Technical specifications by Terreal, regarding the product technical characteristics and installation. The supporting rail is: Aluminium AMS (Aluminium, Magnesium, Silicium) alloy corrosion-resistant for outdoor use

DESCRIPTION

This external wall-cladding system, based on single-wall terracotta building panels is particularly reliable in its method of fixing. The building tiles have 4 longitudinal lips on the back (see photos) which enables them to be hung on a metal supporting rail pegged to the wall or a frame attached to the main structure. The double rail supplies half of the upper and the lower support of the two vertically adjacent tiles (see diagram 1) . (see diagram 3) . (see diagram 2) . ? Wall-cladding installation (insulated cladding)*:The tiles are hung on the rails which are fixed to a framework that includes the insulation and is fixed to the wall allowing the realization of walls type XIII

The tiles are hung on rails fixed directly on concrete or masonry wall allowing the realization of walls type III ? Direct installation (non-insulated cladding) Ceramic facing of new or old buildings requiring nomaintenance. 2 types of installation:
