DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT AND SYSTEM

FIXING KIT (See diagram 1 - fixing kit) Metal rods ensure that the terracotta is retained incase of accidental breakage (falling objects or people, vandalism, etc.) The fixing plates are provided with notches to facili- tate orientation of the blades of terracotta during installation. 4 angles of orientation are available: 0°,30°, 45°, 60°.The plates are also pre-perforated.These holes accommodate the fixing screws. SUPPORT UPRIGHTS FIXING and SCREWS (See diagram 2 - uprights)Shamal kits can be fixed to uprights made of aluminium alloy. Terreal supplies a support upright with associated joint cover. Both these sections are 2995 mm long.The support upright is equipped with slots at intervalsof 300 mm (10 slots per bar) or 200 mm (15 slots per bar). These openings accommodate the plates of Shamal kits. (See diagram 3 - fixing) Once inserted in the slots of the support uprights, the kit is oriented and then firmly fixed to the support usingstainless steel self-tapping screws (SFS Intec SN5/9-S-7504K– 5.5 x 19 or 22 mm TH8 or similar). Adding the joint cover conceals both the screws and the rear of the fixing plate.
