The Shamal

, a long-dimensioned sunscreen, is made in theshape of an aeroplane's wing. It provides real protection from the sun with improved thermal insulation of buildings. The Shamal is frost resistant and conforms to standards NF P P13.304 and EN ISO 539.2 Method C. The Shamal comes with its own anti- corrosion fixing system, and is available in two finishes: smooth or sanded, and seven colours. Single parts can be replaced independently of the others.

INSTALLATION

SHAMAL® 14SHAMAL® 20 The Shamal system comprises a fixing kit and sup-port uprights (patented system). The Shamal kit consists of:> a terracotta blade of ovoid shape with 4 smoothfaces. 2 sizes are proposed (20 and 14 cm width), available in the seven colours of the range (red orange, Revel red, champagne, pink, chocolatebrown, ebony, pearl grey) and the finish may besmooth or sanded> a metal structure to keep the kit together and retainthe terracotta in case of accidental breakage, and to enable it to be fixed to a supporting structureconsisting of punched sections. This metal struc-ture comprises fixing plates, metal rods, neoprene interfaces, expansion joints and fixing nuts.The kit is pre-assembled in the factory. This kit can be installed with different angles of tilt butremains fixed once installed (it is secured to theupright sections by at least one stainless steel self- tapping screw on each fixing plate).
