The Acoustic Monolithic Brick a high load-bearing brick, with perforations on one side. It is used for the acoustic correction of noisy areas.

DESCRIPTION

Long-dimensioned terracotta bricks used for sound absorption and acoustic correction of areas or premises where the noise level is too high. Application as anti-noise screens: roads, motorways, railways, etc. and interior: auditoriums, classrooms, swimming-pools, etc. The acoustic monolithic bricks are manufactured according to the principle of terracotta products, but are cooked in special dryers and kilns. The product has 4 vertical rows of cavities and presents, on one side, holes designed to absorb sounds in the first row of channels containing an absorbent fibrous material. The profile of the edges, with ridges and valleys, enables the bricks to be fitted together for installation. (see diagram1). AMB is supplied in natural red clay and can be painted or varnished on the construction site if the colour needs to be modified. The entire height of the absorbent side is covered with bands of holes with varying diameters (12 mm, 14 mm, 10 mm). The back is grooved. (see diagram 2). Perforating rate: 18.8%. CONTROL TESTS ? Monolithic Bricks Their production is subject to control by the manufacturer supervised by the CSTB and the CTTB within the context of the procedures for qualification certificates. - Insulation panel – control by the manufacturer and certification by the ACERMI.
