CO/ERNQDOUBLE WALL
Used as a covering for an exterior concrete wall or for an interior wall, Acoustic Bricks can be placed with either vertical straight or cross joints (joined with cement mortar with 350 kg of cement CPA per cubic meter of dry sand), the bricks attached to the wall by steel pins (05 mm) with 3 or 4 attachments per cubic meter. Pointing can be done with adhesive mortar of various colours
SELF-BEARING WALL
(case of brick 30x20x12 or 30x15x12)
> Bricks built with traditional mortar with straight or cross joints will fill in the whole post/beam (metal or concrete).
> It is possible to use 8 x 8 section inscribed in the brick to grout vertical stiffeners (after having taking out the insulation).
Acoustic Brick was also tested by VERITAS (test dated 27/06/96) according to NF S 31.089 standard; test report is available on demand.
TESTS_
Acoustic absorption performance tests (alpha sabine), carried out in reverberating room, conform to the new acoustic regulation. (see Acoustic Regulation pages 122 and 123).
