ACOUSTIC SHINGLE
DEALING WITH IRREGULAR POINTS
• Base detail: start
At the starting point, it is necessary to start with a metal section, L-shaped, drilled with holes and fixed to the vertical wall, protecting the various home panels which constitute the cladding and enabling the drain-off of any water thanks. Bottom acoustic architectural shingles are fixed by means of bottom right/left stainless steel clips. (see diagrams 1 and 5).
• Wall top detail: end
At the top of the work, the acoustic shingle must be protected using a waterproof flashing overlapping the piece.
Top acoustic shingles are fixed using top right and left stainless steel clips. (see diagrams 1 and 6).
• Angles
External angles are built with Maestral®angle piece supported by left/right angle clips. (see diagrams 1 and 7).
• Dealing with openings
Jambs and lintels
They must be dealt with metal subframes which are fixed to the metal framework of the structure. An adaptation of the subframe with the mounting frame of the Maestral®should be provided for. (see diagram 8)

The sills can be dealt with using a metal flashing.
