ACOUSTIC SHINGLE
The Acoustic Shingle is an absorbent cladding product represented by long-dimensioned double-skin modern bricks with perforations on one side. It is fixed on ver­tical profiles. It is used for the acoustic correction of noisy areas. It may be combined with Maestral®(cladding product) It is available in six colours.
DESCRI PTI ON
Sound absorbing terracotta wall covering composed of large dimension bricks. Acoustic Architectural shingles have a perforated face with approx 17% perforation. The cavities have a perforated face with high density rockwool. Acoustic Shingles are fixed to a supporting grid structure using X5CrNi 18-10 stainless steel clips. (see diagram 1).

• Acoustic Shingle
Acoustic Shingle meet the following specifications:
> NF P 13.304 standards: moisture expansion and water absorption.
> Dimensional and surface features are described in the specifications dated 1994-07-13 - 1995­10-30 - 1996-02-28 and 1996-03-01.
> Excellent wind resistance.
> Frost resistance.
> Shock and impact resistant (C3 according to NF P 08.301).
> Easy to replace
> Fixing system according to Technical Approval n° 2/02-920.
• Fixing fasteners
Designed for the fixing of standard Acoustic
Shingle, the clip fasteners are made
of X5Q1N 18-10 stainless steel and remain
unchanged over time.
The clip fasteners are equipped with closed
cell foam wedges which prevent movement
and absorb shocks to the walls during fixing.
This foam wedge also plays the part of an
anti-vibration acoustic shock absorber.
These products are subjected to tests reports
done by the CSTB and VERITAS (seediagram 1).
• Sections
Extruded aluminium sections in aluminium alloy AGS6060 T5 with minimum thickness of 25/10e mm.

* The quantities were established for a horizontal joint between the contemporary panels of 1 cm for a vertical joint between the panels of 2 cm (including the Tsection), and for a horizontal joint between angle of shingle of 0,5 cm. The units indicate the surface area and the linear dimensions for the facades including the joints.
