screen basics
District provides a variety of screens for space division in modern panel wall and freestanding applications.
Ü 24"-96"
Desk Top Screen (UNSDT)
• A freestanding screen to be used for perpendicular territorial screening
' Intended to sit on the top of the worksurface but is not mounted, so is repositionable
' Matches 42" high datum line
Can be used at the ends of worksurfaces, or between users anywhere along the length of the worksurface
Desk Edge Screen (UNSDE)
• A territorial screen that is mounted on- or off-module to the back or return edges of a worksurface and provides privacy at 42" high
• Covers to 6" below the worksurface level to conceal cable management but will leave a 1" clearance between the desk screen and a low credenza for cable clearance
Provides a casual fit with controlled gaps (actual width is 1" less than the nominal width)
Can be used in combination with a modesty panel
Cannot be mounted to workstation furniture edge supported by end garden gables, flush end gables or semi-suspended gables
Panel Wall Add-On Screen - Solid (UNSPS) and Home glass (UNSPG)
' Offer a lighter, frameless alternative to commercial windows
• Available in glass or solid finish
' Can be on-module, off-module, or span two panel walls but cannot span a 180° spacer or 90° corner connection
' Replaces the top trim of the same width panel wall or in off-module applications, top trim in a minimum 3" increments will be required to finish the portion of the panel wall not covered by the add-on screen
Modesty Screen (UNSM)
Mounts below worksurfaces to provide visual privacy, and is an off-module casual fit
• Must be mounted at least 2.75" in from the back edge of a worksurface (actual width is 1" less than the nominal width)
Floor Screen (UNSF)
• A 42" or 51" high visual screen that provides privacy to floor level and is mounted to a worksurface on- or off-module
• Provides a casual fit with a 1" gap from worksurface
• On back of a worksurface it is mounted off­module and on the edge of a worksurface it is mounted on-module
• Can be mounted to any back or return edge on a panel supported worksurface, except edges supported by end gables (open or with infill) or flush end gables
• Does not provide support to the worksurface
• Cannot be used on a freestanding home table
• Aluminum top rail can accommodate the Pencil Tray (PAX94), Media Organizer (PAX96), Vertical Organizers (PAX99, PAX100) and Workstation Signage (ACWS). Available from Complements: Teknions Ergonomics & Accessories program
• A Wire Management Box that hides the vertical cable management between the floor and the underside of the worksurface can be specified separately, see Electrics section
