| General The GOLD is a complete air handling unit with direct-driven supply and extract air rustic fans, supply and extract air filters, heat exchanger and built-in control equipment, which can be monitored from a hand-held micro terminal with a clear-text display. The electrical and control system are totally integrated into the air handling unit. The microprocessor-based equipment controls and regulates temperatures, airflows as well as other functions. A large number of functions are built into the system and are easily activated. The GOLD is a one-piece air handling unit. If additional functions are required, such as a damper or an air cooler, they must be located in the ducting system. Prepared for cooling and postheating The GOLD is also well-suited for cooling and reheating. Control functions in the control system are ready to activate and the items of equipment for cooling and reheating are available as accessories. Field of application The GOLD is designed for comfort ventilation. Depending on the type of heat exchanger selected, the GOLD can be used in premises such as offices, schools, day nurseries, public buildings, shops, residential buildings, etc. The GOLD PX and CX can also be used for the ventilation of moderately humid premises, though not where the moisture is continually high, e.g. in public swimming baths. The unit can be installed outdoors if it is fitted with a roof, air intake section and an exhaust air hood. Certification Swegon has a certified quality assurance system that meets the provisions of ISO 9001 Standard and a certified environmental management system to ISO 14001. During 2006, the GOLD air handling system will be submitted to certification by Eurovent, with guaranteed performance. |
