Our Production
History
hering Berlin porcelain has received many important WM included in many museum collections all over the world.
Prizes
Objects
Elegance in it's most perfect form. The singular form and dimensions of vessels, bowls and other objects are instantly recognised as hering Berlin. "Classics" of porcelain art are the small bowls - inspired by the Japanese tea tradition - and tall, slender "bottles". The perforated bowls have already achieved an almost legendary reputation.
Fine Dining
Aesthetic lightness, perfect Form and complete functionality are adjectives, which describe the Dining-Ware of hering Berlin, whether in classic bisque-white, with washed out architectural structures or with silver or cobalt décor.
Lighting
Transparency: the thinnest porcelain allows light to shine through the surface structure of the lamp and bath the surroundings in an atmosphere of warmth. The delicate light-architecture of the ceiling-lamps supplier, garden chandeliers, table manufacturers and hanging lamps with porcelain shades conceal a refined lighting-technique. Here hering Berlin works with the well-known lighting-firm, STENG LICHT Stuttgart.
Characters
Limited Artist-Editions: hering Berlin has invited the Chinese porcelain artisan, Pamela Mei Yee, to create a series of 4 figures.
The rebirth of this age-old, almost forgotten type of table decoration is a tribute to a tradition of yesteryear. Only a limited number of each, complete with certificate, is available.
national prizes for design and is
In only a few years hering Berlin has become an internationally known name for modern porcelain. With the simplicity and elegance of her clear forms, combined with modern decors, the founder of the firm, Stefanie Hering, has created a modern interpretation of a traditional material.
1992 | Stefanie Hering and Wiebke Lehmann found an atelier in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg, working separately but with a common showroom.
seit 1992 | Stefanie Hering has gradually developed a collection of modern porcelain objects, which carries her own signature. Besides prizes and international praise, she has also received contracts for industrial design, for example: from Porcelains Bernardaud, France and Rosenthal, Germany.
