Product Information FB-1/SL Stadurlon Description: Stadurlon sandwich elements consist of an extruded polystyrene core and, on both faces, top layers of Stadurlon of 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm or 2.0 mm thickness. The sandwich panel is covered with a protective foil on both sides. 10 years Stadur guarantee. Properties: • excellent heat insulation • UV-endurance • 10 years Stadurlon UV-guarantee • high impact resistance even in the cold • easy to process with conventional wood and metal tools • paintable Facings: Stadurlon is an efficient plastic material which is applicable for the use from -20°C up to +120°C. The special surface is highly UV-resistant. Stadurlon compact plate both sided 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm,1.5 mm or 2.0 mm incl. protective foil. Standard colours: White similar to RAL 9016 silk-matt, cream white similar to RAL 9001 silk-matt or Salamander white brilliant. Please refer to the current price list for valid formats and thicknesses of each surface/colour. Core Material: Extruded polystyrene foam, CFC-free or CO2 foamed, low vapour permeability, lowest water absorbance, B1 in accordance with DIN 4102. The foam core is corrugated for optimum adhesion. No dust release during processing. Core material of different thermal conductivity λD-value 0.029 – 0.035 is available. Overall thickness: 24 mm – Further thicknesses (thicker / thinner) of the facing layers or the foam core available on request. Formats: 2000 x 1000 mm / 2150 x 950 mm / 3050 x 1300 mm / 3000 x 1500 mm / 3000 x 2000 mm / 4000 x 2000 mm Other formats and fixed formats are available on request. Overall Thickness Technical Data: Special Elements: Stadurlon sandwich elements can be supplied with optimised sound insulation values by incorporating special sound insulation panels or with intrusion-inhibiting aluminium inserts. Edge jointing inserts of wood, plastic or aluminium and edge finishing of the foam core as a stepped rebate or tongue and groove are possible. Other core materials, e.g. polyurethane foam, mineral wool or honeycomb construction materials are available on request. Areas of Application: Window panels, parapet elements, partition walls, exhibition construction, door panels, container construction, balcony cladding boat and yacht building, facade elements, refrigeration rooms, advertising signs Note: In the case of subsequently painted elements for which Stadur has given no written release any claim under the guarantee is void. Due to considerably better sound insulation values and a clearly quieter element we recommend the use of 2.0 mm facing layers. When solvent-based substances are employed polyurethane foam must be used as the core.
