Living and Working Green The Solar team completed Phase II of the facility’s solar array project in December 2011. The second phase consisted of approximately 1100 additional solar panels housed on 80 Solar Innovations, Inc. manufactured racks. Phase III and IV are scheduled to be completed by 2015. Solar Innovations, Inc. also utilizes a hydronic heating system in the orchid greenhouse.

Beyond LEED requirements, Solar Innovations, Inc. has made environmentally conscious building choices like the use of low VOC paint, carpet tiles for easy replacement, and ceramic tiles to make our new facility aesthetically pleasing. The incorporation of our own structures, a transom window pattern around the entire building, and over 10,000 square feet of glass ensure the facility receives adequate natural light.
