With Vista it is possible not only to see the survey model in real time but also to see the project inserted in the existing situation and study its impact, intervene on the project itself, obtaining a different scenery. | | | | | | | | | | The scene can be completed by lights; Vista can provide for the insertion of three kinds of lights: point light, directional light and spot. For any light it is possible to set color, intensity and other parameters. Animation By Vista it is possible to record some animations which can then be reproduced at any time even if in the model new elements have been added (lights, texture, etc.). Some new parts of recording can also be added to this animation. From the animations the tool can return an AVI-format videoclip that can be visualized in any computer equipped with one of Windows operative systems, even if Vista has not been installed in it. So, besides drawings, it will be possible to provide the customer also with a multimedia literature which allows to understand in a better way the data supplied. Route If combined with ProSt, Vista can be used to 'run' virtually along the project performed by ProSt: ProSt exports into Vista not only the data of the 3D model (union between terrain model and road model), but also the data defining the route of the camera along the road. Thanks to this, the designer can 'run' along the project performed and study the problems concerning road visibility. | | | | | | With Vista it is possible to load directly the projects performed by ProSt, Topko or other CADs (by DXF file reading) and to build around them realistic situations by applying textures, lights, etc, as far as creating animations of the projects themselves. 3D Visualizer Vista 3D visualizer allows to move interactively and in real-time inside a project just by using a mouse. Visualization and motion speed is remarkable even with a low-performance computer. It is possible to memorize some predefined view points which can be easily retrieved from toolbar. The visualization of the model can be performed by lines only (wireframe), by hidden lines, by shading only and finally by applying textures. Rendering Vista offers a sophisticated management of materials for rendering and is equipped with a wide library of materials and textures subdivided according to type (ground, plants, walls, floors, stones, water, etc.). So it is possible to use the materials supplied (modifying them if necessary), or create new ones defining their features: color, transparency, brightness, specularity, etc. You can match any material with a texture that can be either one of those supplied with the tool or your own. Such materials can then be exported to the library to be used afterwards on more projects. | | | | | | Features | | | | | | | | | | Main features: ► Application of materials to surfaces ► Different kinds of lights: light point, directional light, spot ► Library of materials subdivided according to categories ► Background setting ► Recording of animations ► Creation of videos ► Exporting images in TIFF, JPEG, BMP, EPS formats ► Management of points of view ► Simulation of the route of the axes exported from ProSt ► Creation of personalized materials ► Properties of the materials: color, transparency, brilliancy, mirroring, texture, texture scale ► Different visualization modes: with textures, without textures, hidden lines, wireframe | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 3D visualization, rendering and animation Q | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
