Road, railway and hydraulic design
ProSt is a software package addressed to engineers, surveyors, planning offices and, in general, to all those who have to solve problems connected with planning and accounting of civil works as roads, railways, waterworks, etc. The package, thanks to its flexibility, is a very useful help for work accounting.
using the section stations on the alignment. On terrain sections it is then possible to insert automatically the typical section equipped with all the elements. Some commands have been arranged for the insertion of such workings as stripping, terrain recovery, benching, etc.
► Typical sections: It is possible to build one's own typical section by assembling the different objects that make it up and by modifying the properties of each one of them. The sizes of the typical section can be differentiated according to cut and fill situations as well as according to right or left. It is possible to turn drawings into typical objects and make them parametric.
► Project planimetry: from the sections it is possible to generate the planimetry of project and the 3D model equipped with all the elements.
► Volume calculation is performed by two different methods: by average end area method and equalized area method.
► Policy check: Very precise reports allow to check, both planimetrically and vertically, all the parameters of the project elements by verifying their congruence with the policy set.
Some of ProSt main features are the following:
► Definition of horizontal alignments: The
planning of road axes is performed interactively, on the tool graphic window, overimposed on the survey performed and/or on numeric or raster format maps. The planning of street and highway intersections, also of very complicated ones, can be greatly simplified by multi-axes management, which allows to have, inside a single file, more horizontal alignments at the same time.
Vertical profile: the vertical profile can be extracted automatically by interpolating the road axis and the triangle mathematical model. The project grade lines are inserted interactively from the graphic CAD window. On the grade lines the vertical curves are then inserted through the definition of radius or of tangents. From the grade lines and the vertical curves set it is then possible to calculate the project elevation of sections. The profile drawing can be personalized in all its parts.
Hydraulic profile: A specific management allows to plan hydraulic profiles of aqueducts and sewer systems.

ProSt S: Road and railway design
Basic module that allows to study alignments on screen, together with topographic survey. The tool also includes a sophisticated management of longitudinal profiles, cross sections and volume calculations. Includes a module for hydraulic profiles.
ProSt X: Road Intersections
X module introduces a set of tools to solve easily and precisely all the problems concerning the planning of road intersections, from a simple At-Crade intersection to very complex interchanges, rotary intersections, etc.

ProSt Z: Accounting sections
This module meets a wide range of needs concerning accounting sections. Its high flexibility allows to personalize all the phases of calculation and to adapt them to the requirements of price lists, thus providing the reports requested by supervision of construction.

► Parametrization of objects that turn from static objects into parametric ones changing their shape and size according to parameters freely defined by the user
