| | | Topko ©©1)®©q©(§) Networks adjustment Supplementary module of Topko T, completing it with the least squares adjustment of horizontal and vertical networks. The module offers a sophisticated interface of data insertion, a powerful calculation engine as well as an extremely detailed report of calculated data. | | |
| | | Both in case of surveys with a single closed traverse and in case of complex traverse networks with different combinations of triangulation and trilateration, Topko N can adjust all survey data and offer the best result using adjustment according to least squares technique. At the end of the calculation it is possible to obtain the drawing of the network with the visualisation of error ellipsis for each point, so that every possible weak point in the network can be seen graphically without difficulty. Such a calculation module inside a topographic software like Topko allows to offer a really complete and integrated solution, which does not need to transfer data from an application to another, making it possible to work always in the same environment. Adjustment of horizontal networks All the data needed to perform the adjustment can be inserted in separated tables according to the kind of measure. | | Adjustment of vertical networks A specific table allows to set the distance and the difference in elevation measured between the stations. Also in this case the tool can compile these data using the informations contained in the handbook of measures. Calculation and results A powerful calculation engine can elaborate data and produce results with a very accurate detail of information. For each point a new coordinate and the corresponding error ellipsis are calculated; for each measure standard deviation, correction performed and error ellipsis are calculated. All the results can be printed or exported to different data interchange formats. | | |
| | | Calculation algorithm can analyse the following kinds of measure at the same time: ► Directions ► Angles ► Azimuth ► Distances For each measure it is possible to set the error that can affect the measure: this error will be used for determining weights. For each point it is possible to specify whether both its coordinates (abscissa and ordinate) are fixed or only one of them is. Every measure can be temporarily excluded from the calculation without having to be cancelled from the table; in this way it is possible to set a relation between data obtained from different calculation conditions. Data tables can be compiled automatically by the tool according to the measures contained in the handbook of measures, so the user does not need to insert manually the data a second time. | | |
