| ProSt X offers commands for automatic and manual cutting of section elements. Projection of axes on profile Projecting polylines or axes on the longitudinal profile allows to obtain a profile polyline by projecting, on the profile itself, another axis or a polyline of planimetry. In this way it is possible to visualise on the profile the altimetric proceeding of other axes or of the edges of other axes, so as to set correctly the altimetric planning of the current axis. Edge polylines The planimetric drawing of the road intersection can be developed completely with the commands offered by X module for drawing edge polylines. In particular, in road intersections the tool calculates and draws simple or three-centre edge curves complete with inlet lane. These polylines can then be used by the tool on inserting the typical section, in order to determine the size of the roadway or of other elements. Building a 3D model of the intersection The tool can build a 3D model of the intersection, starting from the edge polylines that define the crossroad area. Some commands allow to assign, according to different options, an elevation to the vertexes of these polylines, turning them into 3D polylines. From the analysis of the axes involved in the intersection and using the polylines defined the tool can create a triangle model of the intersection area. This model can be completed with the automatic building of the surfaces of other elements, such as gutters, sidewalks, islands and so on; a further command allows to create slopes from the most external polyline to the terrain digital model. |
