WATER HEATER INSTALLATION

LOCATION Avoid installing the appliance in a room in whichthe air is corrosive or dusty.
Diagram 3 Avoid installing the appliance in close proximityto a cooking appliance.
Positionof support hook The recommended height to install the applianceis 1.5 m (59 in) from the viewing window to the ground.

Gas inletWater inlet GAZE.C.E.F. The appliance must be installed with a minimumdimension of 20 mm (3/4 in) from the rear of the appliance to the mounting surface.

Car 021 Flush out service pipes to remove any foreignmaterial before connecting to the 15 mm water inlet elbow on the wall plate.
Diagram 4 Gas pressure test point Multipoint outlet Mark the position of the hook which supports thetop of the heater, see diagram 3 . Temporarily attach the heater to the wall fixingplate and measure the distance between the wall and the back of the heater. This will indicate the lenght of hook required. Remove the heater. Drill a 6.5 mm hole in thewall and insert the wall plug, supplied. Screw home the hook and leave it protrudingthe correct distance to keep the heater vertical. Mount the heater onto the hook and connectthe gas and water unions at the wall fixing plate using the two washers supplied. Tighten up all fittings. For installation with a spout - attach the swivelspout to the spout outlet.
Mec 101 diagram 4 For multipoint installation - remove the nut andblanking plate from the multipoint outlet, see . Fit the 12 mm copper multipoint outletconnector and washer. Connect the pipe to the remote draw off taps.
