This boiler must be earthed.All system components shall be of an approved type.Connection of the whole electrical system and anyheating system controls to the electrical supply must be through a common isolator.Isolation should preferably be by a double pole swit-ched fused spur box having a minimum contact separation of 3 mm on each pole. The fused spur box should be readily accessible and preferably adja- cent to the boiler. It should be identified as to its use.Connect the integral supply lead, coiled and tuckedbehind the boiler, to the mains supply. All models Do not interrupt the supply with a time switch or pro- grammer. In case of difficulty obtaining a suitable timeclock/ room thermostat, a programmable room thermostat is available as an accessory, 14 .ON NO ACCOUNT must any electrical voltage be applied to any of the terminals of the external con- trols plug. For use with a timeswitch or timeswitch and room thermostat see diagram 14 WARNING. ON NO ACCOUNT MUST ANY EXTERNALVOLTAGE BE APPLIED TO ANY OF THE TERMINALS ON THE HEATING CONTROLS CONNECTION PLUG.Warning : .A 230V room thermostat can be used but do not make any connection to the compensating resistor, see diagram Saunier Duval guarantee.
