RonaBond Concrete Cover 150 Coating to increase equivalent concrete cover by up to 150mm ■ protective coating for concrete ■ increases Equivalent Concrete Thickness by Description RonaBond Concrete Cover 150 is a coating designed to improve equivalent concrete cover. A 4mm layer provides 150mm equivalent concrete cover to protect reinforcing steel and extend the life of reinforced concrete. RonaBond Concrete Cover 150 is supplied as a pre-packed material comprising liquid and powder. It is mixed to form a slurry which is applied by brush or roller at a thickness of approximately 0.5mm per coat. The cured coating can be left as the finished surface or overcoated with a pigmented anti-carbonation coating such as RonaBond Crack Bridging Anti-Carbonation Coating WB or RonaBond Anti- Independent laboratory testing demonstrates that 4mm of RonaBond Concrete Cover 150 provides 150mm equivalent concrete cover. Surfaces should ideally be prepared by water/grit blasting or similar means to remove previous coatings and any grease, oil, dirt and deleterious material.
