Rockfon Samson has a high impact resistant surface and
is especially suited for application areas with a high
activity level e.g. schools and sports halls.
The sound absorption level is exceptional; thereby contributing to a good
acoustic environment in what typically can be noisy or echoy application areas.
Samson should be installed in Rockfon System Samson for maximum impact
resistance. In areas where the requirement for impact resistance is lower,
Samson can also be installed in RockLink 24 with clips or retaining channels.
Humidity resistance and dimensional stability

Rockfon ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable, even at
humidity levels of up to 100% RH. As the humidity inside a
building has no influence on Rockfon ceiling tiles, the ceiling
can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0ºC to
40ºC, and no acclimatisation is necessary. Rockfon ceiling
tiles retain their superior properties even in infrequently
heated and unheated rooms. However, in accordance with
best practice building design, precautions should be taken to
avoid condensation risks.
Samson is predominantly classified as class 1/C/0N in
accordance with BS EN 13964. However, certain module
sizes are class 2/C/0N.

Samson is made from 100% pure stone wool which can
withstand more than 1000°C for more than 120 minutes
Reaction to fire:
Class A1 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1.
