1. INTRODUCTION The first louvres were designed to allow the passage of the sound of bells and chimes whilst protecting thebell tower from rain ingress. Today louvres are refined to assist in the rejection of noise, rain, birds, vermin and in some cases air! Inother cases the louvres are designed to explicitly allow an air passage. Many options including the incorporation of access doors manufacturers and hatches can be achieved in one homogeneousfaçade with the RENSON continuous louvres system.
