The Shuttle® XP makes no compromises whenitcomes to active and passive safety; whether people, machine or stored goods. The Shuttle® XP offers maximum assurance and maximum safety. The Automatic divided lift door The lift door in the rear area of the retrievalopening opens automatically at each trayexchange in the access/retrieval area. Aslong as the extractor is moving up and down, the integrated lift door is closed. This ensures the maximum safety for people, machine and stored goods.In addition, the air draftis prevented fromescaping and the travelling noise is reduced. Personnel safety – light grid The self-monitoring safety light curtain islocated just in front of the access opening and monitors the entire operating area. While activating the safety equipment, all travelling movements arestopped immediately. 15 Safety at the highest level Weight management controls the weightof the tray/Shuttle Central guiding system with 8 times rollerstorage for high speeds Overhang control An automatic height measurement systemdirectly in front of the lift door monitors overhanging objects, whichprevents thestorage at prescribed fixed heights. This helpsin avoiding collisions in the Shuttle.
