The fine storage grid of 25mm enablespreparation of goods with different heights. Atravelling beam is connected to severalShuttle-elements for the Shuttle® XPlus.The extractor travels on the beam and bringsthe required tray with the stored goods either directly to the retrieval opening or back to a free storage place.The modern drive concept of the travellingbeam takes place by a toothed-belt and a central guiding system. This combination allows for large travelling speeds at minimum noise emission. The ergonomically structured retrievalopening covers the height of respective storage goods up to 730mm and thus guarantees the determination of the storage place. These small storage distances help inachieving more flexibility and effective utilisation of volume. The trays are kept ready in the front andrear storage area of the Shuttle® XP. The automatic, two-part lift door in theaccess opening protects people, machine and stored goods. Shuttle® XPlus reaches travelling speedsof up to 1.7m/s. The number and position of the retrievalopenings areselectable. The operating unit works with simplemenu management in dialogue method. Operating positions can be adjustedindividually with the continuous storage angle elements. Intelligent combination of Shuttle-elements for an order picking system The combination of Shuttle® XP and Shuttle®XPlus is ideally suitable as an order picking system. The Shuttle-elements can be compiled in any way. The number and the position of retrieval openings depend on the requirements.
