Special selective coatings of polycarbonate structured sheets developed by Polygal are one of the most advanced achievements in this field. Such coating is made by method of coextrusion, i.e. it is an integral part of a polycarbonate sheet and preserves its properties throughout the service life of the sheet. Such coating makes it possible to control the quantity of light penetrating an enclosed space by absorbing and reflecting some part of solar radiation. Accompanying unusual optical effects appearing on the sheet surface make such sheets a useful material for indoor decoration or different architectural projects.

Silhouette-coated polycarbonate structured sheets are a new product line of Polygal. Silhouette is a special pigment coating giving a unique mother-of-pearl lustre to the surface and having a selective effect, which makes it possible to control the warming-up inside an enclosed space on a hot summer day The Silhouette-coated sheets are very glamorous and can embellish any building giving it an original appearance. The Silhouette-coated plates are manufactured with different colors: mother-of-pearl and golden and of different thickness, ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm.

Primalite
The Primalite special selective coating of polycarbonate structured sheets produces a special effect by reflecting a considerable part of the solar energy in the infrared (thermal) range while freely transmitting light in the visible range. The Primalite coating reduces the heat in a room without hindering its lighting, thereby saving air-conditioning costs in summer heat. In addition, the Primalite produces an original optical effect, changing color depending on the light angle. The Primalite-coated sheets are manufactured with thickness ranging from 8 mm to 32 mm.

Polycoolite (Primavert)
Primavert (Polycoolite)-coated polycarbonate structured sheets is one of new designs of the Polygal R&D Department. The special coating of the Primavert sheets transmits solar radiation in ranges which are most beneficial for plants and reflects ultraviolet and a considerable part of infrared radiation. The Primavert coating has familiar properties of the selective coatings group and gives a golden-greenish shade to polycarbonate sheets. These sheets are ideally suited for hothouses, winter gardens and garden greenhouses and other architectural projects. The Polycoolite sheets are 8 mm thick, the Primavert sheets are 10 to 32 mm thick.

The PolyShade coating of polycarbonate structured sheets produces a special metallic shading effect. A perfect solution for hot climate areas. The PolyShade coating contains a special pigment that adds metallic lustre to the surface and provides an optimal level of solar radiation reflection to prevent overheating of a room. The PolyShade-coated sheets are manufactured with different colors: silver metallic blue and metallic green; and of different thickness, ranging from 8 mm to 16 mm.
