To make the most efficient use of the sun’s energy, add the Compool
® LX220 to your
solar heating system. Simply set the LX220’s variable thermostat at a comfortable temperature. The system monitors the temperature of both your
solar collectors suppliers and your pool. Whenever the sun offers sufficient energy for effective heating, the LX220 opens a motorized valve, sending filtered water to the solar collectors. Should clouds or wind reduce ambient temperatures, the LX220 shuts off the collectors to prevent them from cooling the pool.By knowing precisely when effective solar heat is available, the LX220 will heat
rustic pools faster and keep them warm longer. In most installations, the system’s existing pump is all that’s required to move water through the solar collectors. If a booster pump is required, the LX220 is designed to automatically control a 3-port Solar Valve and/or Solar Booster Pump, and includes two 10K Thermistor Sensors with LED status indicators.We’ve designed the LX220 with micro-electronic circuitry, housed in rugged, fiberglass composite enclosures. The system even monitors itself, making sure that the temperature sensors are functioning properly.
