6 NIKO MOTION DETECTION 7
Niko Motion detection
A passive infrared motion detector reacts to changes in a certain detection area. If a person enters the detection area, the motion detector switches the connected lighting. For as long as the sensor registers radiant heat, the lighting stays switched on. If the person leaves the detection area and no radiant heat is registered anymore, the lighting is switched off after a preset time. By using a motion detector, the lighting never stays switched on unnecessarily. Energy saving and comfort guaranteed! Main characteristics After installation, the motion detectors are immediately ready for use .The motion detectors have a large detection area and very quickly detect the smallest movements. >
parallel to thedetection rays: straight across the detection rays: no detection detection Sitting (A + B): In order to detect people that are sitting, e.g. at a desk, they have to be situated completely within the detection area. The smaller the distance between person and sensor, the more sensitive to small movements the detector is. Walking (C + D): For people that walk through the room, a larger detection range is available.
