Both horizontal (cooling) and vertical (heating) jets as well as localized displacement flow are possible. The latter being especially important for areas that are thermally loaded or polluted. NAD Klima Industrial diffuser Diffuser VLD / VLV consists of a galva- nized steel housing (1) with individual openings and a special shell plate with spigots (2) as well as four air control elements (3) that serve as the bottom of the device, each in a rotable position on a horizontal axis (4). The air control elements are connected via rigid, hinged connectors (5) to a rack (6) which is in turn connected to a fixture with a gear wheel (7). Industrial diffuser Air entering the diffuser through the spigot is diverted by the closed air control elements and is discharged in a horizontal jet through the opening of the shell plate. In suspended installations, and especially when smaller sizes of diffuser VLD are being used, there is a velocity component directed upwards. By rotating the four bottom elements into the diffuser, the discharge angle is continuously shifted until the discharge is fully opened, thus creating a vertical jet.
