Ceiling diffuser Description, areas of application and benefits The VAL variable air diffuser includes an internal control dial which allows manual or motorized adjustment to adapt to diverse situations. The distinctive characteristics of the airflow allow installation of the diffuser recessed into the ceiling or suspended at heights of up to 15m with a feed flow which can reach 3000 m3/h. Areas of application - Individual offices - Administration areas - Large retail stores - Meeting rooms - Multi-purpose rooms - Cinemas - Sports rooms - Industrial halls - Conference or convention halls Benefits...

Ceiling diffuser Configuration and mode of operation The VAL air diffuser comprises a valve (1), a throttle ring (2), a connecting frame (3) and a second control ring (4). The design of the outer rings gives a conical appearance. The different parts are attached to the main body (6) of the diffuser with spacers (5) forming a perfectly symmetrical unit. The valve is equipped with a regulating mechanism (7) which permits a manual vertical movement of the connecting frame (3). As an option, the diffuser can be motorized. Radial airflow When the connection plate is in the lower position, the flow...

Ceiling diffuser Aerodynamic data and scopes of application Nominal size [-] Specification : Minimum ceiling height of 3m so that the airflow does not exceed 0.20 m / s in the occupied zone. The depth of penetration in heating mode y is ∆T = 10K (raised plate). Critical airflow trajectory ∆T = -8K (plate not raised) * The values LWA apply to the cooling and heating functions Ranges of application = minimum range of application = Optimal range of application = maximum range of application Subject to technical changes. Ceiling diffuser VAL vertical airflow In the 50% radial / 50% axial position, the data will be corrected: LWA = LWA-3dB ∆Pt = ∆Pt x 0.61 Vertical airflow distance after conjunction (y[m]) VAL horizontal air flow In the case of ceiling level installation, speeds are multiplied by 1.4. Note: Acoustic power in dB (A) = Sound level NR +5 LWA [dB(A)] = The absorption or the space has not been considered Subject to technical changes. Version 17 / 04
