Control The luminaire has two locking 3-poleXLR connectors for serial data transfer.
It responds to command signals confor-
ming to the USITT DMX512 (1990)
standard. All user-selected settings areadjustable via an onboard control panelwith LED display or with a remote
control unit. Performance In the standard configuration, whenfitted with a new MSR 575/2 dischargelamp, and with no colors or effectsapplied, the luminaire emits a total
luminous flux of 20,500 lumens in a
building beam 25°wide, where the outsideedge of the beam is defined as thecircle having one-tenth the intensity of
the beam's midpoint. The luminaire is constructed of sheetsteel and aluminum. The exterior finishis an electrostatically applied powder
coating. Non-structural covers are con-structed of molded plastic. The color isblack. Housing Installation The luminaire operates in any orienta-tion. It is supplied with two brackets to
which mounting clamps may be faste-ned. The brackets attach to the basewith quarter-turn fasteners such that
the luminaire may be installed at any
increment of 45°in the plane definedby the luminaire's base. When installedabove floor level, secondary attach-
ment is fastened to a reinforced attach-
ment point. Electrical The luminaire operates on 50 Hz sup-plied at 200, 230, and 245 volts; and on60 Hz supplied at 208 and 227 volts,
+/- five percent. It is fitted with a 3
meter (9.8 ft.) length of three conductor1.5 sq. mm (16 AWG) electrical cablefor connection to AC power. The lumin-
aire must be electrically grounded. The luminaire is cETL certified forcompliance with CSA standard C22.2
No. 166, and ETL certified for complian-
ce with ANSI/UL standard 1573.(Certification pending.) It conforms withCE safety standards EN 60598-1 and
EN 60598-2-17, and with CE electro-
magnetic compatibility standards EN 50081-1 and EN 50 082-1. Environmental The luminaire must be located in a dryarea in which the ambient temperature
does not exceed 40°C (104°F). If the
luminaire is to be exposed to moistureor precipitation, it should be furnishedwith and installed in a protective hou-
sing with a minumum IP rating of 44. Physical The maximum dimensions of the luminaire(without accessories) are 356 x 481 x 652mm (14.0 x 18.9 x 25.7 in). Its weight doesnot exceed 31.5 kg (69.3 lbs). >
