UTILITY BUILDINGS UNIVERSITY The centre was designed in 2007/2008 by a group of architects from Warsaw working at Budopol design ofce. Modern buildings of the University are situated among older ones at Powstańców Warszawy avenue in Rzeszów. The architectural concept refers to modern ergonomic trends. The centre is one of the most modern didactic-conference complexes of this type in Europe. Among others ARGUS System, LUGSTAR ECO rec, VIGO System, ROTUNDA and RUBIA luminaires were used to illuminate this building.

CUPRUM ARENA The Cuprum Arena Shopping Centre was opened in May 2009. It is one of the most interesting trade-servicesentertainment buildings it terms of architecture in Poland. The building refers to the industrial character of the town which is one of the leading global manufacturers of copper and silver. Materials such as granite, glass, wood and aluminium boards in the colour of copper were used to nish the building. LUGSTAR ECO rec, ATLANTYK 3, LUGLINE and customised CLASSIC Line luminaires were used in this project.

FOOTBRIDGE The circular footbridge in Rzeszów is the rst object of this kind in Poland. It was built at the junction of Piłsudskiego avenue and Grunwaldzka street. The investment was worth over PLN 12 million. The footbridge is suspended almost 6 m above the ground and has a diameter of over 39 m. Modern luminaires adjusted for the needs of this exceptional project were supplied by LUG Light Factory. The footbridge is illuminated with MODENA LED luminaire customised according to the client's needs.

PHILHARMONIC HALL The building of the Carpathian Philharmonic Hall is situated at Chopina street, one of the town's main arteries, near the old town and castle in Rzeszów. In 2009/2010 major renovation works and extension of the building were carried out thanks to which Rzeszów can take pride in having one of the best philharmonic halls in Poland. The National University of Ireland in Galway w a s o p e n e d i n 1 8 4 9 . C u r r e n t l y, 17,000 people study there and it is a workplace for 2,200 staff. One of the lecture rooms at the University was illuminated with decorative luminaires made of aluminium proles. It was one of the rst projects of this type. Such luminaires had never been used before in educational facilities. Energy efcient luminaires for this object were supplied by LUG Light Factory. ROUND and ARGUS ONE System luminaires were used in this project.
