The lobby of the congress centre impresses with the
high-grade stainless steel ceiling.The single ceiling
panels in form of a parallelogram determine the
design of a "frozen lake" by means of the matting
of single areas, a scattered perforation and the
structured surface Lindner Lunar.The effect of
the ceiling is increased by the back-lighting of the
perforation.
The design idea of the architect to imitate
a frozen lake with ice floes on the ceiling
was perfectly realised with this project.The
realisation was effected by means of stainless
steel panels consisting of matted and high-
gloss areas, as well as the surface Lindner
Lunar, a combination of perforation and pun-
ching that gives an additional three-dimensio-
nal character to the surface.
