Roset Hotels & Contracts invited Pierre-Yves Rochon to design their whole stand at Equip’ hotel, in order to show that it is possible to furnish all the parts of a modern hotel from items within the Roset collection of seating, cabinetry, rugs, lighting and accessories. Each with its own aesthetic value, and each contributing to the comfort and function of the whole. In summary: to reconcile creativity and quality – contract and domestic. the Roset Hotel

To complete the Roset Hotel design project, Pierre-Yves Rochon selected items from the Roset collection designed by Archirivolto, Didier Gomez, Peter Maly, Pascal Mourgue, Pagnon & Pelhaître and Christian Werner. As well as Abdi, Thibault Desombres, Philippe Daney, Jean-Marc Gady, Alban-Sébastien Gilles, Jean-Louis Guinochet, Frances & Policar, Elia Gilli, Bernard Moise and Tous les Trois. On arrival at reception you are struck by the majestic ceiling light, - a special commission -, which gives scale and a wash of welcoming light to new arrivals. Each zone has its own atmosphere: the bedroom is light and airy, whereas the bar / restaurant is warm and intimate. The centrepiece of Reception is the Rive Gauche corner seating group, designed by Didier Gomez the master of uncomplicated lines, elegance and comfort – a place for discussion and shared thoughts. Bedroom furniture is from the Everynight collection, designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, and is complemented by upholstery, furniture and accessories selected from the Roset collection, to give maximum freedom to the guest. The headboard against which stands the Anna bed is an island finished in Natural Oak. On the front are two bedside lights, which illuminate when pulled forward. The red décor of the wall finishes is picked up by the red leather of the bar stools, and the cushions on the banquette seating. Rust red is the colour of the wool covers of the armchairs and the banquette. A counterpoint is added by the ink coloured leather covers of the dining chairs, and the white chickens of Elysabeth Stenne’s pictures. The floor finish is Wengé veneer.
