Dear readers, Recently, my daughter drew my attention to the following turn of phrase: “Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the bird is going to sh*t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.” This is a fairly fitting description of the relationship between photovoltaics and some politicians from the very beginning, and of the attitude of some PV investors towards price and quality. After all, as everyone knows, and despite all the scientific evidence to the contrary, internationally there are “climate change deniers” at every level of politics...

History. 100 years of innovation and quality 1914 The factory was founded in Heilbronn by Gustav Bach, Albert Hirth and Gustav Klein. The company’s purpose: The manufacture of engine gaskets. 1915 The company was registered in the Commercial Register as Kupfer-Asbest Co., Gustav Bach. Gustav Bach took over management of the company. 1934 The electro technical range already included accessories for radios. 1939 Alongside engine gaskets and shaft seals, the product range focused on choppers, the predecessors of today’s inverters. 1944 The main factory in Heilbronn and branches in Böckingen, Unterheinriet...

1998/99 KACO GERÄTETECHNIK GmbH. The expanding Gerätetechnik profit center, together with ten employees, separated from the KACO Elektrotechnik company and founded KACO Gerätetechnik GmbH based in Sontheim, Heilbronn. Dipl.-Ing Ralf Hofmann took over management of the new company. KACO Elektrotechnik closed shortly afterwards. KACO Gerätetechnik GmbH launched the first transformerless PV inverter. This achieved higher energy yields than circuits with transformers, and furthermore guaranteed reliable operation. 2003 KACO Gerätetechnik GmbH moved to its new site in Neckarsulm 2011 A scalable factory...

Convenient AC and DC cabling thanks to plug-in connectors Data logger with web server Graphical display, intuitive menu navigation Priwatt function for the selfconsumption of solar power, ready for storage The transformerless string inverters blueplanet 3.0 TL1 to 5.0 TL1. themselves; this does away with an intermediate data logger. Please find more information about the extension module on our website. With their low weight, they are almost fun to mount. Using plug-in connectors on the DC and on the AC side, they are just as quickly connected as they are mounted. The inverters incorporate a small,...
