| Task Lighting with Spotlights When lighting tasks with trac spotlights, the fixtures should be placed on each side of the task to minimize veiling reflections and glare. Avoid placing fixtures directly over a person's head so as not to create unnatural or unpleasant facial shadows. Complimentary fill lighting from another diffuse source is recommended. For illuminating counter- tops, place the trac between the cabinet face and the front edge of the counter to avoid having the viewer standing in their own shadow. Since trac hangs below the ceiling, be mindful to allow enough clearance for cabinet doors to open. |
