Energy Efficiency ofCMH Technology
Ceramic Metal Halide CMH lighting has become the preferred light source for commercial, retail and display lighting applications. With its outstanding efficacy, reduced maintenance and eceptional dimen-
sional and color rendering capabilities, Juno CMH trac lighting is the energy efficient answer for today’s
trac lighting challenges. Reuce Energ Consuion The challenge to reduce energy use has never been greater. Whether due to the ever-increasing adoptionand enforcement of national or local energy codes, or due to the need to reduce operating costs to
improve corporate profitability, or due to the desire to be “green” and act as the best possible steward of the environment, Juno CMH trac lighting offers an outstanding solution to help meet any of these challenges. Here’s how. Typically, CMH fixtures are chosen to replace halogen fixtures on a one-for-one basis. As shown in the comparison below, equivalent light output is readily achievable with much lower wattage
CMHlamps. This can yield up to 75% less energy use, which translates to lower operating costs, while
also significantly reducing energy code calculations. In addition, CMHlamps offer 2-3 times greater life
than their halogen counterparts. Replacing multiple halogen fixtures with a single Juno CMHfixture can
yield even greater savings. Examples of typical replacements include: >
