| | | Interior application: New gypsum wallboard should have all joints and nails prepped with tape and joint compound and be primed with a high quality interior latex primer or our Best Under. Existing painted wall board is acceptable provided paint is sound with no flaking, and concrete wall is free of cracks. Exterior application: Surface cracks, holes or voids should be repaired. Smooth or painted surfaces must be cleaned in an abrasive manner (high pressure waterjet, scraping, sanding or sandblasting) to open surface pores and allow for a good bond. | | |
| | | Remarks One bag covers approximately 36 sq. ft. with a two-coat application to achieve an evenly covered surface. Single coat application per bag is workable depending on the thickness applied and skill of the plasterer. | | |

| | | /-\ Application 1) Apply the mixture uniformly (around 0.04"-0.06") using a stainless steel/plastic/chrome trowel in one direction. Best looking wall can be achieved with two-coat process per bag. 2) Smooth over the surface with a plastic trowel when almost dry. 3) Let dry as quickly as possible under well-ventilated conditions. 4) When the wall is dry, dust away the residue or dust. A damp sponge may be used to wipe off dust and excessive residue 5) Do not apply when the temperature is below 40oF (5oC) or above 100oF (40oC), or to overheated surfaces. 6) The finished effect depends entirely on existing conditions, good surface preparation, thorough mixing and skill and experience of the applicator. www.japanesewall.com ISO 9001 & JIS A 6909 CERTIFIED V___J | | |
