Managers are envied. For their disposition. For their perfect appearance. For their confidence. For their largesse – they have everything and can do everything. They know each other and pro-
mote each other. They are envied for their cars, their privileges, their secretaries, their tailored suits, their expense accounts, and their salaries. A polished appearance is a pro-duct of managing, of constantly bearing responsibility. Confidence is a prerequisite for leading a team. Company cars are used to work in. Privileges come expen-sively. Earnings are not salary but critically measured success. Managers carry a heavy burden.Shouldn’t even more good ideas take a seat? Axos.
