Photometric data iGuzzini > 1 m > This indicates the illuminationdistribution expressed in lux which isemitted onto a wall by the light from afitting installed at a distance
of... ...meters and with an orientation of α degrees with respect to the wall. The values indicated are absolute anddo not refer to 1000 lumen. For spaces where video displays are utilized, the EN 12464-1 standarddefines luminance limits along with the UGR specific values. The maximum values that are allowed according to the type ofscreen that is used: Class of screen according toISO 9241-7Class of screen according toISO 9241-7goodmediumpoorL IIIIIIL Average luminance of fittings reflectedonto the screen ≤ 1000 cd/m > 2 ≤ 200 cd/m > 2 The chart shows the average luminance limits the light fitting should have, for elevation angles of 65°or greater in relation to the vertical axis, for workspaces where video display unites are used in a vertical position or with
an inclination of up to 15°in relation to the vertical.
For those locations where sensitive screens or screens with inclinationsof more than 15°, the luminance limits must be applied for lower elevationangles (55°, for instance). 13
