Classification of fittings
Classification of fittings according tothe inflammability of the surfacesused for installation. Class 0 with functional insulation, but without double
reinforced insulation inevery part and withoutearth connections. The fitting can be installedon normally flammable
surfaces. The fitting can be installed
on normally flammable
surfaces with thermally
insulated
ceilings. Class I with functional insulation inevery part and with earthterminal or clamp if theunit is fixed, or with
electric power supply cable
complete with earth wiresand relative plug with earthcontact if the unit is
mobile. The fitting cannnot be
installed on normally
flammable surfaces. >
MM The fitting can be installed
on furniture. Class II with double insulationand/or reinforced insulationin every part and without
earth connections Class III designed for connecting tolow voltage circuits, without any internal orexternal circuit functioning
at a voltage different from
safety low voltage. . >
