An homage to our ancestral furniture makers, Saw is at once sculpture and furniture. The solid wood table contains several stylized “saw cuts” into which the nickel-plated lampstand is inserted, each pro- viding a different intensity of light or no light at all when placed in the resting slot. In this age of convenience, Saw hearkens back to atime when the lighting and dousing of lamps was a more purposeful act, a domestic ritual punctuating the beginning or the end of an evening.Introduced February 2007 at the Interior design Show in Toronto.Contact HutJ for pricing and shipping information.
