Boxes was inspired by, well, a pile of boxes sitting in a corner. The next step in their evolution was the idea of that pile of boxes being rec- reated in a beautiful and unexpected material. Architectural in its conception, the piece is executed in a beautiful black walnut veneer with natural finish, a timeless and natural material for a decidedly modern form. Boxes carefully staggered elements also cleverly hide its drawer(s) when closed.Contact HutJ for pricing and shipping information. The windows looked out onto the intersection of Lily Street and Alexander Avenue and “Lily Alexander” was born from the street sign. When HutJ designs a piece in house and it is a collaborative effort, we use Lily’s name as the Designer.
