Designed to be wheelchair and pedestrian safe it utilises a flat pressed U section cross bar on the upper surface. Comfort flooring is offered with a variety of load bars to accommodate different spans so this product can be used for grating around swimming building pools, on marina walkways, on building access ramps and is also suitable for use in fire prone areas where conventional timber decking would be destroyed. Specifiers are able to choose from two clear spacings between the cross bars, the more commonly used 6mm and a wider 14mm spacing is also available for increased light penetration. Comfort Flooring is manufactured in mild steel and is available both plain and galvanised. | | | | | Bfrloorifc | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Clear unsupported spans (mm) | | | | | | | | | | 300 400 500 600 700 800 900 1000 1100 1200 1300 | | I4OO I5OO 160O I7OO 18OO I9OO 2000 | | | | | | | | | | 1 | | | | | | - Not for pedestrian access - | | | | | | | | | | | | | | P | | 3.96 | | 2,64 | | 2,26 | | 1,76 | | | | | | 5,28 | | | 1,98 | | | | | | 7,92 | | | 3,17 | | | 1,57 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | U | | 64,80 | | 21,16 | | 16,20 | | | | | | 28,80 | | | 12,80 | | 8,18 | | | | | | 115,20 | | | 41,47 | | | 10,37 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 44,95 | 29,96 | 22,47 | 17.98 | 14,98 | 12,84 | 11,24 | 9,99 | 8-99 | 8,17 | 7,49 | 6,91 | 6,42 | 5,99 | 5,62 | 5,29 | 4,99 | 4,73 | | | | u | 691,20 | 388,80 | 248,83 | 172,80 | 126,96 | 97,20 | 76,80 | 62,21 | 51,41 | 43,20 | 36,81 | 31,74 | 27,65 | 24,30 | 21,53 | 19,20 | 17,23 | 15,55 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | P Point load in kN U Uniformly distributed load in kN per sq. m □ Not for pedestrian access □ Vehicle access: trucks up to 9 tonnes in overall weight. □ Vehicle access: trucks up to 3 tonnes in overall weight.
